A savory-sweet twist on brunch, this breakfast pizza is topped with bacon, eggs, melted cheese, and finished with a drizzle of Sugar Bob’s Smoked Maple Syrup for a rich, smoky kick.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1 tsp chopped chives or scallions (for garnish)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2–3 tsp Sugar Bob’s Original Smoked Maple Syrup, plus more for drizzling

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside while it heats.
  • Roll out your dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Brush the dough with olive oil. Evenly sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses across the surface, leaving a ½-inch border.
  • Add toppings: Scatter the chopped bacon and red onions (if using) on top. Carefully crack 4 eggs onto the pizza, spacing them out evenly.
  • Bake the pizza on the preheated stone or sheet for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden, cheese is bubbling, and egg whites are just set but yolks are still runny (or to your preferred doneness).
  • Finish with flavor: Immediately drizzle 2–3 tsp of Sugar Bob’s Original Smoked Maple Syrup over the hot pizza.
  • Garnish with chives or scallions, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot with extra smoked maple syrup on the side.
