Maple Whiskey Sour
A bold spin on a classic. Sweet, smoky, and just the right bite.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz Sugar Bob’s Finest Kind Maple Syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters (optional)
- Ice
- Lemon wheel or twist (for garnish)
- Maraschino cherry (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Fill a rocks glass with ice water to chill while you mix.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup, bitters (if using), and sriracha (if you’re feeling fiery).
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 15–20 seconds.
- Dump the ice water, strain the cocktail into the chilled glass with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lemon twist or wheel, and a cherry if you like to keep it classic.
Spicy Option
Add ½ tsp Sugar Bob’s Vermont Maple Sriracha to the shaker for a slow-building kick that plays real nice with the sweet + sour.
Sip slow—or don’t. Either way, it’s a winner.
